Derbe Traveby Friese rain jacket for women – comfortable, feminine, and wonderfully wearable

A rain jacket you'll love to wear even if it stays dry. The Derbe Traveby Friese combines protection from changeable weather with a soft organic cotton lining. This makes it feel much less like a typical technical rain jacket and more like a lovely everyday jacket.

The outer fabric has a water column of 3,000 mm, is windproof, and the seams are sealed at all critical points. The adjustable waist allows you to easily give the jacket more shape, and thanks to the 2-way zipper, it's also great for cycling.

The yellow version with blue and white striped lining is, in our opinion, the ultimate Traveby Friese. The fresh yellow refers to the well-known Friesennerz, while the striped cotton interior gives it that nice Scandinavian, maritime look. A rain jacket that should be seen on a grey day.

The difference with the Traveby Friese is mainly on the inside. The jacket is lined with 100% organic cotton, making it feel soft and comfortable.

The sleeves have a separate lining made of recycled polyester, making the jacket easy to put on and take off.

With a water column of 3,000 mm, the Traveby Friese offers good protection during everyday downpours. Derbe has also sealed all critical seams, and the outer fabric is windproof.

Good to know: are you specifically looking for a rain jacket to walk or cycle in heavy rain for a long time? Then we recommend a model with a higher water column and fully taped seams.

For daily use and typically changeable Dutch weather, the Traveby Friese is a very good choice.

Wear it the way you like it

With the drawstring in the waist, you decide how the jacket falls. Leave it loose for a somewhat tougher look, or cinch the waist slightly for a more feminine silhouette.

The hood is also adjustable, and the cuffs can be tightened with snap buttons. The back extends slightly longer in the characteristic fishtail, providing a little more coverage.

The 2-way zipper can be opened from the bottom for extra freedom of movement while cycling. An extra protective flap with snap buttons runs over the zipper.

At the front, you'll find two practical side pockets for your daily essentials.

The back is slightly longer than the front.

Made with care

For the outer fabric and sleeve lining, Derbe uses recycled polyester. The soft inner lining is made of organic cotton, produced according to the guidelines of organic farming.

According to Derbe, the cultivation of this organic cotton uses significantly less water than conventional cotton cultivation. The jacket is also PFC-free.
