It's that time again: the Avond4Daagse (Four Days Marches) is coming! The punch cards are ready, the shoes are broken in, and your child(ren) are bouncing with anticipation. But, true to Dutch weather, rain is on the way. And not just a light shower either.
You might be groaning at the thought. Four nights of lugging candy bags, sticky socks, and wet hair. But hey, let's be honest – the Avond4Daagse is also magical. Those happy faces, the feeling of togetherness, the proud medal at the end. You don't want a little rain to ruin that, do you?
