This ankle-length long rain jacket from the Happy Rainy Days brand is waterproof, windproof, breathable, and equipped with a unique gusset. By zipping up this gusset (the flap), which can also be tucked away inwards, you get extra room to move and your legs stay dry, for example, while cycling. This jacket also has extra nylon sleeve ends with elastic, which prevents rain from getting in.

The outer fabric of this jacket is made of 100% nylon, with a PFAS-free coating on the back. which makes the clothing truly waterproof. This coating also makes the material windproof, to prevent cooling down, and breathable, to prevent heat build-up. Technically, the fabric has values of 10,000/10,000. This means that the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 10,000 mm water column - absolutely waterproof - and has a water vapour permeability of 10,000 grams/m²/24 hours - thus very breathable.

All seams are taped, meaning that the seams on the back are provided with an "adhesive strip" to prevent water from penetrating through the seams. In short: this means that with this jacket, you can cycle and walk vigorously in prolonged rain showers with peace of mind.

Happy Rainy Days jackets fit true to size, always consult the size chart. The size you choose and find comfortable is very personal; some customers prefer the jacket a bit larger so that a thick sweater can be worn underneath in winter, while some customers prefer the jacket as snug and tight as possible and do not necessarily want to wear something very thick underneath.

Size Chart:

Chest/Bust: Measure the widest part of the chest circumference, horizontally all around.
Waist: Measure your waist (3cm above your hip bone, and often the narrowest part), horizontally all around.
Hip width: Measure the widest part of your hip, horizontally all around.
Sleeve length: Measure from the top of the shoulder (where your neck stops), over your shoulder down to the top of your thumb.
Jacket length: Measure vertically downwards from the bottom of the neck.

* These jackets are worn like any other jacket, over your clothes and not over another jacket. Therefore, measure with your clothes on and not with a jacket.
* You may have to choose between 2 sizes, for example, because the waist fits one size and the chest fits another. In this case, always choose the larger size.

Maintenance;

• The jacket can be washed at 30 degrees
• Always wash the jacket inside out to preserve the color
• Never use fabric softener, as this affects the waterproofness of the jacket
• The jacket should not be tumble dried
• Iron only the inside
• We advise hanging the jacket to dry if it gets wet. Do not stuff the jacket away when wet, as this can damage the waterproof coating.
