This ankle-length rain jacket from the Happy Rainy Days brand is waterproof, windproof, breathable, and equipped with a unique intermediate piece. By zipping up this intermediate piece (the flap), which can also be tucked inside, you get extra freedom of movement and your legs stay dry while cycling, for example. This jacket also has extra nylon sleeve ends with elastic, which prevents rain from getting in.

The exterior of this jacket is made of 100% nylon, with a PFAS-free coating on the back, making the clothing truly waterproof. This coating also makes the material windproof, to prevent cooling, and breathable, to prevent heat buildup. Technically, the fabric has values of 10,000/10,000. This means the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 10,000 mm water column - absolutely waterproof - and has a water vapor permeability of 10,000 grams/m²/24 hours - meaning it's very breathable.

All seams are taped, meaning the seams on the back are fitted with an "adhesive strip," so no water can penetrate through the seams. In short: This means you can confidently cycle and walk vigorously in prolonged rain showers with this jacket.

Happy Rainy Days jackets fit true to size, always consult the size chart. Which size you choose and prefer is very personal; some customers like the jacket a bit larger so that a thick sweater can be worn underneath in winter, while some customers prefer the jacket as snug and tight as possible and don't necessarily want to wear anything very thick underneath.

Size chart:

Chest/Bust: Measure the widest part of your chest circumference, horizontally all around.
Waist: Measure your waist (3cm above your hip bone, and often the narrowest part), horizontally all around.
Hip circumference: Measure the widest part of your hip, horizontally all around.
Sleeve length: Measure from the top of your shoulder (where your neck stops), over your shoulder down to the top of your thumb.
Jacket length: Measure from the bottom of the neck vertically downwards.

* These jackets are worn like any other jacket, over your clothes and not over another jacket. Therefore, measure with your clothes on and not with a jacket.
* It may be that you have to choose between 2 sizes, for example, because the waist fits one size and the chest fits another size. In this case, always choose the larger size.

Maintenance;

• The jacket can be washed at 30 degrees 
• Always wash the jacket inside out to preserve the color
• Never use fabric softener, as this affects the jacket's waterproofing
• The jacket should not be tumble-dried
• Iron only the inside
• We advise hanging the jacket to dry when it gets wet. Do not wad up the wet jacket, as this can damage the waterproof coating.
