A rain jacket that doesn't look like a rain jacket

That's perhaps what I like most about the Seafaring.

The jacket has a matte, natural look, making it hardly recognizable as a rain jacket. This means you can wear it just as easily on a dry day as when rain is forecast.

The combination of organic cotton and linen also gives the outer fabric a beautiful appearance that you don't often see in technical rainwear.

This results in a jacket that effortlessly combines style and functionality.

Protection against typical Dutch weather

The Seafaring has a water column of 5,000 mm. This means you are excellently protected during rainy days.

In addition, the jacket is fully windproof and has a breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours. This allows heat and perspiration to escape more easily, so the jacket remains comfortable to wear during a walk or bike ride.

The hood is adjustable and fits snugly when the weather changes.

Comfort for every day

The Seafaring has a comfortable A-line fit, which means it drapes beautifully around the body without being tight.

The slightly longer fishtail at the back not only gives it a distinctive look but also provides extra protection during rainy weather.

At the front, you'll find spacious flap pockets with button closures, and inside there's a convenient inner pocket with a Velcro closure for your phone or wallet, for example.

The Seafaring is made from Seasalt Tin Cloth®, a strong, durable fabric specially developed for changeable weather conditions.

Maintenance

• Wash at max 30°C

• Do not use fabric softener

• Wash the jacket as little as possible

• After use, hang the jacket out to dry thoroughly

• Preferably use a suitable detergent for waterproof clothing

• Re-impregnate the jacket with a suitable waterproofing agent if necessary

This will help maintain the water-repellent properties of the outer fabric for longer.
