This warm winter rain jacket combines Seasalt Cornwall's distinctive British design with everything you need during a Dutch autumn and winter. The jacket is fully waterproof, windproof, and breathable, and features wonderfully soft fleece on the upper body and in the hood on the inside.

With a water column of 5,000 mm, fully taped seams, and a breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours, you are well protected against rain and wind. The warm recycled padding ensures that you can go outside comfortably even on cold days.

Warm and fully waterproof

The Plant Hunter is made for those days when the weather can't make up its mind. Rain, wind, and cold: you just want to put on one jacket that keeps you comfortable.

The outer fabric has a water column of 5,000 mm and all seams are fully taped. This makes the Plant Hunter a full-fledged waterproof winter rain jacket that you can confidently wear when rain is forecast.

At the same time, the fabric has a breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours. This allows heat and perspiration to be wicked away more effectively. This is especially pleasant during a brisk walk, when you're walking the dog, or regularly cycling.

On the inside, Seasalt provides that little bit of extra comfort. The upper body and hood are lined with wonderfully soft fleece. The rest of the jacket has warm padding made from recycled polyester.

The result is a winter jacket that keeps you warm and cozy, without feeling heavy or unnecessarily bulky.

A well-thought-out fit

The Plant Hunter has a feminine, slightly tailored fit. With the drawstring at the waist, you can determine how much shape you give the jacket yourself.

The back extends slightly longer in the characteristic parka shape and has a shaped vent. This provides extra freedom of movement and a little more protection during wet and windy weather.

The fleece-lined hood is adjustable, and the cuffs can also be adjusted with snaps, so wind and rain are less likely to get in.

Smart details for everyday use

The Plant Hunter closes with a zipper and an additional row of snaps at the front. This gives wind and rain even less chance.

The front pockets have protective flaps and offer enough space for the items you like to carry with you.

Fit and size advice

Please note: the Plant Hunter runs quite small. Our advice is therefore to choose one size larger than you normally wear.

I usually wear jacket size 38 / M, but for the Plant Hunter, I choose size 40. Then the jacket fits nicely and I also have enough room for a thicker sweater underneath.

If you are in doubt between two sizes, definitely choose the larger size.

Outer fabric: 68% organic cotton, 32% recycled nylon

The combination of organic cotton and recycled nylon gives the outer fabric a pleasant, soft feel. Seasalt's strong Tin Cloth® material is also designed to withstand a good deal of outdoor life.

Maintenance

• Wash at 30°C

• Do not use fabric softener

• Wash the jacket as little as possible

• Allow the jacket to dry and air thoroughly after use

• Preferably use a suitable detergent for waterproof clothing

• If necessary, treat the jacket again with a suitable impregnation

Made with care

The Plant Hunter is part of the Seasalt Rain® collection, which combines good weather protection with consciously chosen materials.

For the outer fabric, organic cotton is combined with recycled nylon. The lining and padding are made from recycled polyester.

The water-repellent treatment is also PFC-free, meaning it is made without perfluorinated compounds that are harmful to the environment.
