I wear my softshell quite a lot now: while walking in the park, while shopping in the city (where you never know whether you're inside or outside), and even for drinks on a terrace.

Of course, no coat is perfect, this one also has its drawbacks.

Let's face it: in a downpour you'll really need a real raincoat.
