A softshell is simply the perfect jacket for our unpredictable Dutch weather. It's that light, flexible jacket that protects you from wind and rain, but doesn't make you sweat.
It moves with you, lets your skin breathe and looks great too!

Why do I have a softshell jacket hanging on the coat rack?

Honestly? This jacket is definitely a favorite to wear:

I wear my softshell quite a lot now: while walking in the park, while shopping in the city (where you never know whether you're inside or outside), and even for drinks on a terrace.
And that print! Yes, I regularly get asked where I got this coat today.

Of course, no coat is perfect, this one also has its drawbacks.

Let's face it: in a downpour you'll really need a real raincoat.
With a softshell jacket, the seams cannot be taped because the inside is made of nice soft fleece material. We've been selling these jackets for years and customers have a lot of fun with them, even in the rain!
And in extreme freezing temperatures, a warmer jacket is welcome.
But for 80% of our Dutch weather? Perfect ;-)
