Obligation of reflection on the bicycle:
In the 1970s, Minister Westerterp ensured that reflectors on bicycles became mandatory, and he introduced various safety measures after he himself lost a child in a traffic accident.
Being visible is very important. Especially when you wear dark clothing , it is important that you stand out in the dark.
On the bike you have lights, but if you also wear an armband you are extra visible. Other road users can see immediately where you want to go, when you stick out your arm to turn.
Do you walk a lot? Just for relaxation or with your faithful four-legged friend. Or do you do outdoor sports, such as running? Then it is certainly nice if you are visible to your fellow man.
Not everyone thinks about the reflectors with lights , these can be set to two positions. Flashing and burning. With these accessories you will be well prepared for your walk.
When is reflection necessary:

But dusk quickly sets in during the short days, and what about fog! So make sure you have our reflective accessories with you in your jacket pocket or in your bike bag.
