Warm and completely waterproof

The Janelle is designed for the fickle weather on the coast of Cornwall – which, of course, makes it equally suitable for our Dutch autumn and winter.

The outer fabric has a water column of 5,000 mm and all seams are fully taped. This prevents rain from penetrating through the stitching, making the jacket completely waterproof.

Additionally, the Janelle is windproof and the fabric has a breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours. This allows perspiration and excess heat to be wicked away more effectively. Great for when you're walking, cycling, or spending extended time outdoors.

Wonderfully warm without feeling bulky

Inside, Seasalt has combined different materials to balance warmth and freedom of movement beautifully.

The upper body and hood are lined with wonderfully soft recycled polyester fleece. The lower part has a smooth, padded lining. The sleeves are also smoothly lined, making it easy to put the jacket on over a sweater.

This way, the Janelle feels warm and cozy where you want it to, without the entire jacket becoming heavy or bulky.

Extra length for extra protection

The Janelle reaches approximately to the knee and is slightly longer at the back. This gives you just a bit more protection against rain and wind than a shorter winter jacket.

The fit is comfortable and relaxed, making the jacket pleasant to wear for daily use.

The hood is not only adjustable but also completely detachable. The peak at the front helps keep rain out of your face.

The cuffs are also adjustable, allowing you to tighten them around your wrists when it's cold or windy.

Practical details for every day

At the front, the Janelle closes with a zipper and an additional row of snaps for extra protection against wind and rain.

You can store your belongings in the lockable zippered pockets, and there's also a convenient inner pocket.

A particularly practical detail are the reflective accents. Especially during dark winter days, evening walks, or a stroll with the dog, a little extra visibility is, of course, a welcome bonus.

Fit and sizing advice

Please note: our experience shows that the Janelle runs quite small. Our advice is therefore to choose one size larger than you normally wear.

I usually wear jacket size 38 / M myself, but for the Janelle, I choose size 40. This way, the jacket fits comfortably and leaves enough room for a warm sweater.

If you're between two sizes? Definitely choose the larger size.

Care

• Wash at a maximum of 30°C

• Do not use fabric softener

• Wash the jacket as little as possible

• Hang the jacket to dry thoroughly after use

• Preferably use a detergent for waterproof clothing

• If necessary, re-treat the jacket with a suitable impregnation

Made with care

The Janelle makes extensive use of recycled materials. Both the nylon outer fabric and the polyester lining and padding are made from recycled fibers.

The water-repellent treatment is also PFC-free and made without perfluorinated compounds harmful to the environment.
