Seasalt Janelle Coat – long waterproof winter coat for women

A long winter coat that keeps you warm AND dry, even when it's really bleak outside? The Seasalt Janelle Coat has been a favourite in our collection for years for good reason.

This knee-length winter coat combines the look and comfort of a nice everyday coat with the technical properties of a good rain jacket. With a water column of 5,000 mm, fully taped seams, and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours, you are well protected against rain and wind, while the warm lining ensures you'll love wearing it on cold days.

Squid Ink is a deep dark blue color and a beautiful, softer alternative to black. Timeless, easy to combine, and suitable for truly every day.

Warm AND comfortable:

• Soft fleece lining in the upper body and hood

The breathable material helps to wick away warmth and perspiration. This makes the Janelle not only great for daily use but also for longer walks and days when you are outdoors a lot.

Extra long, yet still plenty of freedom of movement

It is precisely the length that makes the Janelle so pleasant when it rains or is cold. The coat falls to about the knee and therefore protects a large part of your legs.

But Seasalt has also thought about freedom of movement.

At the back, there is a split with a waterproof zipper. You can open it when you need more space, for example, while cycling or walking briskly.

Both models combine that typical Janelle warmth with good protection against rain. The difference is mainly in length and feel when worn.

Outer fabric: 100% recycled Tide Cycle® nylon

Fleece lining upper body and hood: 100% recycled polyester

Lining lower body and sleeves: 100% recycled polyester

Pocket lining: 100% recycled polyester

Padding: 100% recycled polyester

For the outer fabric, Seasalt uses Tide Cycle® recycled nylon: a strong outer fabric that is made to be worn season after season.

Made with care

The Janelle makes extensive use of recycled materials. Both the nylon outer fabric and the polyester lining and padding are made from recycled fibres.

The waterproof treatment is also PFC-free and made without perfluorinated compounds harmful to the environment.
