Seasalt Janelle Jacket – warm waterproof winter coat for women

The beloved Seasalt Janelle, but in a shorter version.

The Seasalt Janelle Jacket is one of those lovely jackets you'll want to wear every day in autumn and winter: warm and comfortable like a regular winter coat, with the great advantage of also being well protected against rain and wind.

The outer shell is made from 100% recycled Tide Cycle® nylon. Inside, Seasalt combines different linings for just the right balance of warmth and comfort.

Wade is a soft, greyish light blue shade with a subtle blue-green undertone. Fresh, but definitely not bright. It's the muted color that gives this Janelle a calm and stylish look.

A beautiful lighter winter color that is just a little different from the usual black, dark blue, or green and combines well with dark blue, grey, black, brown, and natural tones.

Warm and comfortable:

• Soft fleece lining in the upper body and hood
• Warm padded lining in the lower section
• Smooth sleeve lining, making the jacket easy to slip on over a sweater

• Fixed hood with protective brim
• PFC-free waterproof coating

With a 5,000 mm water column, the Janelle is designed to keep you dry even on really wet days. The breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 hours simultaneously helps to wick warmth and perspiration outwards.

To work, into town, for a walk, or just on the go every day: the Janelle also has everything you expect from a great winter coat in terms of practicality.

The back is slightly longer than the front. This provides a little extra protection, while the jacket retains its nice shorter look.

The Janelle Jacket or the long Janelle Coat?

Are you already familiar with the long Seasalt Janelle Coat from our collection? The new Janelle Jacket is inspired by it, but is much shorter.

This makes the Jacket very easy for daily use. Do you want as much protection as possible against rain and cold and do you prefer your upper legs to be covered? Then the long Janelle Coat is probably a better choice.

So you can mainly choose which length best suits you and your daily use.

Outer fabric: 100% recycled Tide Cycle® nylon

Fleece lining upper body and hood: 100% recycled polyester

Lining lower body: 100% recycled polyester

Padding: 100% recycled polyester

Sleeve lining: 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester

For the outer fabric, Seasalt uses Tide Cycle® recycled nylon: a strong outer fabric designed to be worn season after season.

Made with care

The Janelle Jacket makes extensive use of recycled materials. The outer fabric is made from 100% recycled Tide Cycle® nylon, and Seasalt also uses recycled fibers for the fleece and padding.

The waterproof treatment is also PFC-free and made without perfluorinated compounds harmful to the environment.
