Visibility in the dark:
In the 1970s, Minister Westerterp made reflectors on bicycles mandatory. He introduced various safety measures after losing a child in a traffic accident.
Visibility is very important. Especially when wearing dark clothing , it's crucial that you stand out in the dark.
You have lights on your bike, but if you also wear a wristband, you'll be extra visible. Other road users will immediately see where you're going when you extend your arm to turn.
Do you walk a lot? Just for relaxation or with your four-legged friend? Or do you enjoy outdoor sports, like running? Then it's especially nice to be visible to others.
Not everyone thinks about reflectors with lights , which have two settings: flashing and solid. With these accessories, you'll be well-prepared for your outing.
When is reflection necessary:
You would say, that's not so difficult, in the dark of course!
But dusk quickly sets in during the short days, and what about fog? So make sure you have our reflective accessories with you, for example, in your jacket pocket or bike bag.
